Opera has just released Opera Mini 5 Beta a few days ago. I've downloaded and used in the SE G502. Its first appearance is quite surprising. Black, with the light blue process indicator. Seen from its appearance, there are lots of changes compared to Opera Mini 4.2. Really cool to see the display.
Tabbed Browsing feature is an entirely new feature on this Opera Mini Beta 5. UCWEB already has this facility for a long time, but sometimes makes the users difficult to browse than to make them enjoy their browsing time. Well, the tabbed browsing features on this new Opera Mini 5 Beta is really good. So comfortable to move from one tab to another. I've tried to open my own blog, my gmail account, as well as my yahoo email account, then the start page of google.co.id. Everything is so smooth. I think I can put off thinking to buy a netbook. Haha ….
For some details, the following new features:
- Tabbed Browsing, with this function, you can browse to some websites at the same time with ease.
- Speed dial, one popular feature of Desktop Opera is provided in this version, so you can visit your favorite sites with just one click.
- Touch & Keypad, the device optimizes the display for the touch screen and keypad. Of course I cannot use this for I’m not using a touch screen phone.
- Password manager, can store and manage passwords to log in to email, networking sites and others sites. The default G502 NetFront Browser also has this feature.
