I have just upgraded my Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 using Ubuntu 9.10 Alternate CD. It took about 45 minutes to finish. I was so happy to have this new Ubuntu 9.10. But as you can see on the picture above, The Ubuntu 9.10 always gets me into this Buffer I/O error warning every time I shut it down. The Ubuntu 9.04 doesn’t have this problem.
At first, I tried to install Ubuntu 9.10 using Wubi, but it was failed. Because I want Ubuntu to be installed inside Windows, so I just upgraded 9.04 into 9.10 using that Ubuntu 9.10 Alternate CD.
Anyone can give me suggestion to make this warning away?
